@stichraw @AlanMyles8 Weirdly Garmin speed sensors are very accurate they are magnetometers and measure the rotation of the wheel within the Earths magnetic field to determine speed and distance, far more accurate than a vehicleโs speedometer ๐
@CB_cycles Ahh, might be something I need to invest in as I now have a buggered hand since I dislocated and shattered my wrist when I fell on black ice ๐ณ
@CB_cycles Any bike shop that says that needs a slap, buy a Birzman chain wear indicator, under a tenner, check your chain after every ride, bin the chain when it reaches 0.5%, always keep a spare ready, I always use Shimano I wax them and can get 5K miles out of one.
@CB_cycles Good god, I bin a chain when itโs worn (stretched) at 0.5%, and Iโve never had to replace a cassette or chainrings in 80,000 miles on my various bikes.
@CB_cycles YouTube how to get the correct chain length, there are 2 popular ways to do it, big ring to big cassette without the derailleur, or small ring to small cassette through the derailleur.
@CB_cycles You should change your chain when worn to 0.5% otherwise itโll wear the cassette and chainrings out prematurely, chains are consumable items.
