I’m very bullish on Pons and YOLO.
I’m very bullish on Tendies.
I’m very bullish on CashCat.
Every single billion dollar runner from 2023 shot up, consolidated, redistributed from early whales to stronger hands, and took months to build a community.
This is not about being a maxi in one coin, nobody I know holds ONE coin. This is about positioning yourself into coins on a chain that’s brand new. This is uncharted territory.
SPX went from 20m to 2m in one candle. It was at 1.7 billion a year later,
Mog went from 40m to 2m in a span of days. It was at 1.5bn a year later.
Pepe went from 1bn to 300m in a day. It was 12 bn a year later.
Give them time. The thesis might not play out and I could be completely delusional but if it does then….holy shit we can make it all back.
Give these robinhood coins time.

In all of my decade plus in crypto, the medium to long term outlook for BTC is the best I've ever seen. We have an administration that is all-in on crypto and aligned with an equity vehicle that is purchasing $2.5bn of BTC. Think about all the levers the government has to pump the price. Think about how brazen Trump is in pursuing his self interest. Think about the fact that sovereigns and wealthy people have an incentive to buy BTC to suck up to Trump. Think about the hints of capital controls (section 899) in the tax bill. Think about exploding deficits and how that is a one way street. Think about the coming deflationary impact of AI related job loss and how money printing and stimulus checks are the only offset. Think about the way this new political paradigm is undermining confidence in the USD and forcing diversification. Think about the financial guru Treasury Secretary who is pushing banking regulation changes to enable banks to buy more treasuries to expand market liquidity. Think about the fact that under the new Dept of Labor guidance, 401ks which are the most passive, sticky, and continual of all flows, can now offer crypto.
My time horizon here is long. There are better people to follow if you want short term trading advice. I get all the trader arguments, chart looks like a double top, it's gone up in a straight line, feels tired on good news, could chop for a while. These are all reasonable arguments. There's always something. Don't miss the forest for the trees.
To be honest, I'm also writing this for myself, to not let myself fumble this. It's very difficult to maintain a long-term orientation in this space, but it's the driver of the greatest returns, especially as returns compress in the alt casino.
This is a setup where you go balls long spot, close your eyes, log off for 12-24 months, and come back to the price way higher. Go enjoy your life. Don't let short term gyrations prevent you from one of the most obvious trades ever.
Crypto used to be an easier game for the average person, like a lottery with favorable odds if you happened to be lucky enough to join at the right time. Even then, most people lost their money.
Now it's very different. The game gets harder every year and the best players have compounded greater edges, so they take a larger and larger share of all the money in the game.
Like most endeavors, it takes a combination of innate talent + dedication / hardwork + lucky breaks to make it to the top. People mentally think of it like a lottery or slots but it's most similar to poker.
It's possible to become good at the game, but it takes years of grinding, and it's highly likely you will lose until then. You also have to consider the possibility that you will never be able to catch up to the compounding advantages of the best players.
New players can sometimes have an edge in new games (like memecoins early on) but any game in crypto will eventually devolve into an extraction fest, and new players usually lack the experience to understand the way their neighborhoods are changing and becoming more dangerous over time.
All these developments are compounding into lower belief in crypto over time, which in turn drives shorter ponzi durations and more cynical behavior, which makes the game harder. Crypto is caught in a downward spiral.
There will still be spectacular opportunities to make money, but they will be unforgiving of anything less than great execution. I am clear eyed about this fact and also want to be honest to anyone reading this.
Feel like some haven’t understood it yet so I’ll just spell it out-
1. Stop asking wen Alt season- alt seasons as you know them are no more. Just occasional dumb pockets of liquidity— like when the noob gets his monthly paycheck and goes to the casino or poker room to gamble against the odds and eventually lose it.
2. The 4 year btc cycle is also no more. Inflation halvings dont matter under 1% emissions as now, and macro cycles have been repressed by the US money printing. We will just get more random and unpredictable choppiness now.
3. The retarded ‘L1 premium’ is no more. It finally got saturated with all the chains. You want premium, go build smth that actually innovates and can get to sustainable revenue.
Clear enough? Adapt or get chopped up. No pressure— just your whole future bloodline depending on you getting this right.
at the risk of sounding like a shitpost
days like today are good days to check in on your friends who maybe haven't performed as well, especially if you know they are/were heavy in coins that are getting brutalized.
sometimes a dm from the right person can help people stay rational, rather than spiraling and blowing up.
it might feel silly, especially looking at majors and seeing that things aren't down that bad, but the trenches are bleeding and there's very little optimism in sight for most people, help a friend out if they're really your friend
The fact that fartcoin has a history of dumping 50%+ then ripping 3x+ in a matter of days makes it very reflexive.
All it takes is a few green candles to make everyone perk up and fomo. Don't want to miss another ripper!
Shoutout Karoline Leavitt. She crushed it during her first press briefing. Wasn't rude, didn't get flustered, allowed people to ask questions, answered questions directly, shut down people trying to be rude or cut her off. Great job.
I'll be honest - there is a lot of fear around Fartcoin rn; but I think this is a good counter indicator
rationally, here are some points of confluence that to me scream it should have a big reversal:
- We are at 8 out of 9 red daily candles, same as the pullback from the beginning of month (-55% to 69c)
- We bounced twice on LTF off the diagonal trendline that connects the lows from the beginning of Dec and beginning of Jan
- We are at -65% correction from the top, which is in range with the 7 or 8 big corrections we've had since inception
- Also round number, right below the $1 mark, can be seen as a good spot to accumulate
- Number of holders keeps going up on all timeframes (see below), nearing 100,000
- Fartcoin is the 10th most traded token on perps, in the entirety of crypto, behind super large caps BTC, ETH, SOL, XRP, DOGE, SUI, JUP - it's done 1.5bn in volume last 24h and has been consistently pulling these kinds of numbers
- Everyone was dunking on Fartcoin yesterday on the timeline (Ansem jokes about sending it to 3bn, Shkreli feeling empowered) - somehow everyone thinks the token is dying yet they feel the need to keep mentioning it on the timeline
- Price has been slow bleeding a lot last few days, even though lots of 7 fig whales were clipping in onchain
- Taiki performed Seppuku with a red dildo (underrated signal)
- Sentiment analytics are bottoming out on Kaito (almost in red territory, which has only happened twice since inception and marked bottoms on the chart), mindshare is ranging but still very high
-> fun fact - we are also below the daily trend on the chart, which has also happened twice before, for a few days (2-6 Dec and 9-13 Jan) which is exactly the only 2 times when the sentiment analytics flipped red on Kaito
- With all of these considered, we still barely have any spot listings (Kraken and Kucoin) - I personally think this should change
- I bet a lot of the ppl sold to capture some of the huge unrealized profits they were sitting on (I'm not sell shaming); I also think they would feel a lot of fomo if Fartcoin suddenly put in a 20-30% candle - this is where the coin's reflexivity kicks in
This is obviously market dependent, but if we don't nuke, I think good probability that Fartcoin full sends if the market has bottomed
Until it gets proper Spot listings, it will continue to be volatile and wildy swing in both directions (I think this is a consequence of it lacking T1 Spot exchanges still & most of the volume being on perps)
But this coin has proven again and again that it's extremely resilient (literally the 7th dump of this magnitude) and reflexive, so if you wanted to bet on that happening again, these levels seem great
What people think altseason is
market phase where approximately 95% of altcoins significantly outperform BTC while Bitcoin itself shifts trend.
• mechanical rotation: capital automatically flows from large-caps into small-caps
• universal pump: nearly all altcoins surge, regardless of fundamentals or market conditions
• passive strategy: participants need only hold existing altcoin bags, expecting automatic gains as money "rotates" downward
What altseason really is
a seasonal, cyclical window (often in Q1 of a bull market) where altcoins have a higher probability of outperforming Bitcoin, though not universally.
• probabilistic: a subset of alts may surge, driven mainly by narratives
• risk-reward asymmetry: alts exhibit higher up capture with limited down capture even if Bitcoin corrects
• active selection: success depends on identifying trending projects, rather than passive holding
altseason isn’t extinct—it’s darwinian. adapt or exit the food chain.
