Been sitting on this take for a bit, but I was watching Julian Sayin tape and came away believing he looked just like 2023 Quinn Ewers at Texas.

• Any ball from 10-20 yards is delivered right between the numbers. Both were probably the best in the country.
• More times than not pass catchers needed to slow down or entirely adjust routes on attempts north of 30 yards.
• Not particularly plus athletes.
• Consistent pressure completely derails the pass game.
• Does not evade rushers or extend plays well.
• Ewers slightly better scrambling.

Will dominate games if the pocket is kept clean, but will need a lot of help otherwise. Sayin went 5 TD & 4 INT vs. Michigan, Indiana and Miami with 10 of the season's 18 sacks coming in those three games.

@lukeevangelist_ @SoulSilencer89 Nebraska last year is a good example of a team that we match up well with that shoots the three well, same with Auburn this year (you’ll notice a consistent trend of us beating them over the years), Mizzou, Purdue (turned the ball over like 20 times against us iirc), etc.

@lukeevangelist_ @SoulSilencer89 I’d honestly disagree, we really need to avoid the teams that move the ball really well without turning it over. Now that can be a good three point shooting team (see PSU two years ago, UF), but that can also be one that doesn’t shoot it as well (Vandy, Alabama).
