Empowering Uganda’s youth through
Life Skills | Mentorship | Rehabilitation | Leadership | Restoring hope | building leaders to reach their full potential.
Today we decided to take the message of #SRHRAdvocacy to the streets so that more people can benefit:
Much appreciation to members of @WezeshaGirls who came through to make this a reality:
Everyone has a role to play in protecting children and ensuring that they realize their full potential:

As we count down to this year’s #UniteForGirls, we want to pause and appreciate the partners who have chosen to stand with us.
@TAMyouthfound1 thank you for saying YES to girls and for choosing to invest your time and support in creating spaces where girls can be seen, heard and empowered. We are grateful to have you with us this year.
In commemoration of the #InternationalDayOfTheGirlChild we shall be joining @RaisingTeensUg2 and Partners organizations for the #UniteForGirls event.
Together, we are uniting to ensure every girl in Namayumba knows her worth and that her future matters.
Earlier today,we joined @WezeshaGirls and partners at Kyebando Roundabout for an awareness raising activity on Sexual and Reproductive Health and Rights (SRHR).
Through collective action and public engagement, we are amplifying conversations on girls’ rights to accurate information, access to SRHR services, bodily autonomy and the freedom to make informed decisions about their health and future.
Every girl deserves to grow up with the knowledge, support and opportunities to make choices that protect her dignity, wellbeing and potential.
When girls are informed, empowered and supported, they are better positioned to take charge of their health and advocate for their rights.

#GirlsTakeAction
Today, we took SRHR advocacy beyond the usual spaces and onto the streets at Kyebando Roundabout.
Through powerful messages, we reminded our communities that girls deserve accurate information, safe spaces and the freedom to speak and be heard.

Education is the greatest investment we can make in a child’s future. 📚✨
Yet, every day many children are missing out on this opportunity because their families cannot afford school fees, scholastic materials, uniforms, meals and other basic requirements.
At @RaisingTeensUg2 T”we receive calls from parents and young people seeking support to stay in school. It is painful to know that some children are at home when they should be in a classroom, learning, growing and pursuing their dreams.
We believe that no child should have their future determined by their family’s financial circumstances.
We are calling upon well-wishers, individuals, companies, foundations, and friends of education to join us in keeping children in school.
Your support can provide school fees and essential scholastic needs and, most importantly, give a child hope.⭐️

We are currently at Makindye Court for the District Coordination Committee (DCC) Meeting hosted by our partner @CEDOVIPuganda under the @GirlsFirstFund bringing together key stakeholders from the police and Civil Society Organizations.
The meeting’s focus is on strengthening district level coordination and investment in child sensitive systems that prevent and respond to child marriage and teenage pregnancy.
Through meaningful collaboration, stakeholders are working to strengthen protection mechanisms, improve coordination of services and advocate for sustained investment in girls’ rights, safety and future.
Protecting girls requires collective action, shared responsibility and systems that respond to their needs.
We are committed to #EndChildMarriage
Dear parent, your child deserves accurate, age appropriate information about their body not lessons shaped by the internet.
Create a safe space for questions, honest conversations and guidance.
Be the trusted source they can turn to as they learn, grow and understand their sexual and reproductive health.

Sometimes, change begins under a tree. 🌱
A conversation.
A question.
A child willing to learn and be heard.
We believe education is more than textbooks it is creating spaces where children can question, imagine and participate.
Every conversation is a seed.
#ElevateKaramoja
We shall join @RaisingTeensUg2 for #Unite4Girls where they will bring girls, communities, partners and champions together to celebrate girls’ voices, dreams and potential while creating spaces where they can learn, lead, speak up and thrive.

Children cannot carry the responsibility for their own protection alone.
Teachers, parents, caregivers, communities, police, health workers and government institutions must all have the capacity to prevent, identify, report and respond to violence against children.
Protection is a shared responsibility. #EndChildhoodSexualViolence
