(Thermal Atmospheric Neutron Observation System )
A student team from the CAU Kiel @kieluni participating in the project cycle 12 of the BEXUS programme.
We're planning on launching TANOS Jr again from our university's sports field this sunday! To improve the resolution of our signal, we've increased our amplification. Launch time will be around 9am CEST. Everyone interested is welcome to join us!
We're on our way to the DPG congress in Munich! During the next week, 3 of our team members will give a presentation or present a poster about our TANOS Junior and Senior instruments. Really excited!!
Our Team arrived safely back in Kiel.
We had a really great time at the Student Training Week in Oberpfaffenhofen. Thanks a lot to the organizers @ESA__Education, @ZARM_de, @DLR_de, @SSCspace, and #MORABA and of course to the participating teams!
We are having a great time at the Student Training Week in Oberpfaffenhofen!
Our Preliminary Design Review went quite well and we got a lot of constructive feedback from the panel on which we are going to work in the next weeks!
Last week we tested our last silicon semiconductor with a Bismut-207 probe. After the Student Training Week in Oberpfaffenhofen, where we will present our preliminary design of TANOS, we are going to start with the soldering of the preamplifier.
Congratulations to the new REXUS/BEXUS teams for cycle 12! (DLR and ESA article below).
