We need centralized and compliant stablecoins such as $usdc to introduce a large number of users for crypto (not only as a medium for buying $BTC, but for daily payments, global clearing services of institutions, etc.).
Peter Thiel on why being relentless is everything:
"What I think people like Zuckerburg or Musk or Jeff Bezos at Amazon have in common is that they’re relentless. They don’t stop. Every day, they start over, do more, get better at it. People often ask whether Facebook was just a fluke, in the right place at the right time.
But I think the more you get to know Mark or founders like him, the less plausible it becomes. And that’s, in part, because you can see how hard he works, how much planning it was, how much of a vision there was from the very beginning."
If a team isn’t excited to buy their tokens at these levels, why should investors be?
The point of token buybacks is to signal commitment to tokenholders.
If you believe your token is undervalued, you should be excited to buy it. Growth should always come first, but it’s striking how quickly projects abandon buybacks altogether just because it’s “not working”. There are many reasons why your token price is not going up, but buybacks is certainly not one of them.
My advice - Make the commitment only when you are ready and able to stick to the commitment. It doesn’t need to be 100% of revenues but it doesn’t need to be 0% either. Set price-based guardrails to prioritize capital allocation elsewhere when needed. And of course never do it if you don't have real, organic sustainable revenue yet.
Your advertising for the HLPe vault's 12% Boosted APR promotion is misleading/false advertising. The vault page explicitly promises users will benefit from this via NAV increase as the strategist earns boosted rewards, but after depositing my USDe on Feb 4, my yield remains only 1%, no boosted rewards are visible, and there's no evidence of any NAV uplift from the promotion. This does not match what was advertised. Is this intentional misrepresentation, or is there a technical issue preventing users from receiving the promoted benefits?
