Breaking News from Kolkata🚨

A pregnant woman died after receiving expired saline, and instead of fixing the corrupt health system, the West Bengal government suspended 12 doctors, including 6 post graduate students from obs and gynae department.

Junior doctors at Midnapore Medical College have now announced a complete ceasework, protesting this blatant scapegoating.

To divert attention from adverse drug reactions and multiple deficits and corruption in the health system, the administration is trying to frame junior doctors for corruption in healthcare system.

It's agonizing that on-duty resident doctors, who were actually trying to save lives, are being framed as enemies of patients.

Instead of providing quality drugs, west Bengal government is blaming doctors for alleged medical negligence. Corruption in the health care system is a serious misconduct. Stop blaming doctors for systemic failures. #MedTwitter
