@MathsNot You remind me of my SW London days. First, number plates on Cheyne Walk, now the 37 bus. A new colleague from Manchester once arrived in a Putney pub gobsmacked that he'd seen a bus to Peckham: "It's actually a place," he exclaimed, thinking it was Del Boy's fictional home.

@BBCsarahsmith You said how hard it is to sing the anthem in tune - I was reminded of a moment, a few years back when the Ibstock Place School choir, on tour in DC from South West London, spontaneously sang a beautiful acapella rendition by the remnant of that flag! Tweeted by a tourist!
