Eagles EDGE Jalyx Hunt with a smile after being asked what it’s been like to play against Philadelphia’s new-look offense:
“Man, I won’t tell you anything about our offense. But what I will say is it’s going to be dangerous.”
Prior to tonight’s game against the Atlanta Braves, the Phillies announced the following roster moves:
Infielder/outfielder Felix Reyes had his contract selected from Triple-A Lehigh Valley and will wear No. 29
Right-handed pitcher Seth Johnson was recalled from Triple-A Lehigh Valley
Right-handed pitcher Jhoan Duran was placed on the 15-day injured list (retro to 4/15) with a left oblique strain
Infielder/outfielder Otto Kemp was optioned to Triple-A Lehigh Valley
Outfielder Pedro León was released
I cannot even begin to fathom the levels of irony in the fact that the reporter constantly stoking the fire of AJ Brown trade rumors, specifically to the Patriots, is booed up with the coach of that said team like a White Lotus episode
R u kidding
I will never understand the widespread Jalen Hurts hate.
- Involved in the community
- Class act
- Has never been in trouble
- Has never said or done anything controversial
- Coaches son, who works hard and loves football
- Clutch gene, has two of the best Super Bowl QB performances ever
- Ultimate winner and has won big everywhere he's gone
- Got benched for Tua at Alabama, handled it so maturely, then delivered when his number was called again. Balled out at Oklahoma
- Second round pick who earned the starting role, has had a winning season every year as a starter and has won 57 regular season games in 5 years
- Underdog stories are usually ones that people rally around and root for.
If he was the QB for the Tennessee Titans, there's no way he'd be hated and ridiculed like this. It's only because he's the QB of the Philadelphia Eagles.

Re: Jalen Hurts' preferences in the offense — It's often interpreted as a negative, but one thing I've heard with him is that he's wanted to build more equity in the offense.
He knows the OC role is a revolving door — when they win big, that coach gets poached; when they underachieve, the coach gets replaced — and Hurts' presence is the constant. He's wanted to take more on, but he's also felt empowered to (and I'm using his words from before the season here), "take the bull by the horns in terms of what we are and who we are offensively.”
...That's obviously going to need to evolve in 2026 with a new scheme. But I don't think a QB being rigid with certain concepts is necessarily a negative. It's often what QBs in place for a long time do.
"Jalen [Hurts] has been a Super Bowl MVP. The fact that people are even looking at him and wondering, 'Can he be the future quarterback here?' to me is just maddening."
