@Abomination81@middle_class_us When the ave person cant afford the ave home, they buy the condos and smaller houses. Which means the people normally buying them cant. It also leaves the ave home on the market.
Yes, insurance rates dropping would help things, but only because the ave price is so high.
@Abomination81@middle_class_us Average home price in US is over $500k. Average income for a household is $83k. Even with $50k down, you would need $140k/yr to get the mortgage. Even with $100k down it's still $120k.
Simple fact is the average family cant buy the average home
The United States of America's Government's official opening remarks for the 250th birthday of America included the word "libtard," and people are surprised that we haven't come together in unity to celebrate
@NimuroSan@politico From what I've read...I dont really see bad tho. It removes a lot of needless red tape and bureaucracy allowing more homes to be built faster and expands some current programs to line up better with current cost of living
@TallyBull@Buccaneers@RaysForeverHome If done right, both teams building a mixed use district would be great for the area. Would bring a lot of work to tampa, and could create an amazing social scene that will be enticing for major events to be hosted at both stadiums
@shaunvlog_ If the water isn't salty: there are gators
If the water is salty: there are sharks
Also, if it's salty there can also be gators and crocodiles
If it's not, there can also be sharks and crocodiles
@SophiaLee42 Apparently if you aren't "extremely proud" at all times regardless of what's happening, you are not allowed to be patriotic and love your country. These comments sure are consistent tho, I'll give them that
@TampaBay_Living@SophiaLee42@grok Shocking, I know, but it is entirely possible to love without being proud. Being patriotic does not mean you have to take absolute pride in everything the gov does at all times
@KRod_505@daemarrrr Oh there are stadiums like that for sure. It used to be the popular way to do it cause the land was a lot cheaper and they used to think massive parking lots were required. Newer stadiums and arenas have been going back to in cities
@KRod_505@daemarrrr You went from "random stadium in a field" to "no neighborhoods" to "well it's not completely neighborhoods" in this thread. That's moving the goal
@KRod_505@daemarrrr There's literally houses between the stadium, airport, and interstate. So yes, there is other stuff in the general area. But you're just moving the goal now. Roughly 60k people live within 2 miles of the stadium. You could almost sell out and everybody could walk from home
