Meet the Sleep-Deprived Beak.

A self-representative interpretation of a Beak character inspired by insomnia and creative exhaustion.

This art reflects the repetitive cycle of staying awake too long, depending on caffeine, and slowly losing consistency, focus, and control. The tired eye, uneven textures, rough line confidence, and unstable detailing are intentionally connected to the experience of sleep deprivation affecting the artist(myself) and the artwork itself.

Rather than hiding imperfections, the piece embraces them as evidence of mental fatigue. The inconsistent linework mirrors shaky concentration, while the coffee palette and heavy textures create a worn, overstimulated atmosphere.

This character acts as both a café worker surviving on caffeine and a symbolic portrait of an exhausted creator trying to continue producing despite burnout and lack of rest.
