Tonight we had a little over 500 meals and it was extremely busy in town. It was a really warm night and our immediate focus was on children and the elderly. There were a lot of people looking for water, tents and sleeping bags which we managed hand out.

Due to the heat, people were becoming frustrated by standing in the queue. We were able to go down the line and distribute water to people. We could see that some of the rough sleepers were severely dehydrated and we made sure that we brought them to the top of the queue and that they got enough water and food. We focused on hydration tonight and already had packs made up. Packs included Vitamin C drinks, glucose drinks, water, fresh fruit and a hot meal to make.
