Kentuckians are "facing the prospect of repaying the government for miscalculated payments they received in good faith." @lgwillner and I filed HB240 to allow waiver of overpayments where claimants are not at fault. We're one of only 10 states that don't have this in statute. 1/
@simply__sara Im so sorry! Itβs inexcusable- I donβt know about the new but I know my remaining friends @RepNimaKulkarni and others are continuing the fight. Iβll continue advocating for local UI offices to be reopened!
It was my honor to serve the 100th District and with my colleagues in the KY House. Thank you all for the opportunity and the lasting friendships. Keep up the good fight.
As 2020 draws to a close, the @kyhousedems Caucus would like to pay tribute to its members who are nearing the end of their service in the Kentucky House of Representatives. Those include Reps. Charles Booker, Terri Branham Clark, Jim Glenn & Joe Graviss. 1/3
@RepThomasMassie Elections donβt change the law just the people who make them. Until Executive power is limited through legislative action current executive order is law - but Iβm sure you know that. Encouraging disregard for law is not productive for civil society.
