@Goonyella_ They like it on their easy flat tracks. The uk tracks scare them off. KYR has never run on a straight undulating track. So why risk running him away from that. Fact.
@theOliJones@HKRacingUS@TopRacingTipsRP Yes but. If you say. We won at Royal Ascot - people say ‘wow’. If you say - we won at Randwick - people say ‘where ?’ 😊
@nickluck@HKRacingUS Hi Nick. No not at all - that’s the one race that is of merit. But it was still on a bend - which does suit a lot of horses. Not a lot of UK/ AU sprinter form comparison - but it’s certainly more competitive in EU. It’s just a shame the owners don’t bring him over to Royal Ascot
@HKRacingUS@nickluck I think we can all agree. That until he races on a straight European sprint track in a Group 1 race - there are a lot of doubts in the eyes of European race fans. At the moment he is a very good laboratory horse. But he needs to prove himself away from his easy life at Sha Tin.
@abracing0@Clarkeyboy12345@racingoncourse Please do, but look where they run. Genuine one trick (track) ponies. Galaxy - 24 starts at ST (Sha Tin). Lucky - 32 starts - 27 at ST and 5 at HV (Happy Valley). Helios - 23 starts at ST. Two of the most amazing tracks I’ve been to - but let’s face it. Not European standard.
@Clarkeyboy12345@abracing0@racingoncourse Spot on. Just stays at a nice little easy flat curved track. Keeps beating the same handicappers each time. Never won on a straight track. Good on the stats - zero cred. And yes - on paper - would poss beat the European sprinters. But they don’t race on paper…..
