So far we've had a lot of interest in Brooke, "Affective Ecology of 1980s London", Robinson et al, "Telling Stories", Tomlinson, "De-industrialization Not Decline", and others, but there's a lot more in the TCBH back catalogue!
If you're interested in writing a short reflection on a @TCBHJournal that you've found important in your own work or for the field, please get in touch with @chrhilli, the editor putting together this section of our first issue under the title Modern British History.
In the first issue of @TCBHJournal under its new name, Modern British History, we plan to publish brief pieces (approx 1000 words) reflecting on the contributions that particular articles in TCBH have made to the development of scholarship on modern British history. (1/3)
@luciejones83 The journal will continue to publish work on the late nineteenth century onwards. The name change is meant to signal our wishes to publish research on topics that extend beyond the 1990s.
Beginning 1 January 2024, Twentieth Century British History will become Modern British History to reflect the journal’s expanding scope and vital position within the field. (1/3)

Very excited to share that my first peer reviewed journal article is out now in @TCBHJournal! It centres on Mass-Observation and vernacular politics at the 1945 General Election https://t.co/4GIEKIy3AP
I've been sitting on this for a wee while, but I'm delighted to say that I'll be joining the wonderful @TCBHJournal as co-editor in July this year. I'm so grateful and honoured to have the opportunity to work with such a magnificent editorial team and brilliant authors!
