Beautiful #WhiteMold on north MS field grown #tomato today. Fungus invades wounds and stem joints creating dry, tan lesions. Sclerotia form inside the stem and fall to the ground when the lesion cracks open. Mature sclerotia have a black rind and can survive many years. #MSUext
