@AllForProgress_ "Britain could have the cheapest energy within the developed world within a decade". Agreed. So let's ramp up renewables and electrify all our motoring. It's already benefiting me, now it needs to benefit everyone.
@KateFantom Perhaps you've not encountered that freak situation which requires you to take a tyre to it's limits - when that driver pulls out in front of you and you have to do an emergency stop, you go through an unseen puddle in a storm on the motorway & risk aquaplaning etc... just saying
@Dwarfio@samsmithwolves Depending on your lifestyle, you should rarely need to press max charge if you set the target % and ready by times correctly. Will take some getting used to but don't fall into the trap of pressing that pricey button too often when it's new.
@DaveThroup Yes, they're chronically underfunded, and rural counties like Gloucestershire, Herefordshire and Shropshire have additional challenges due to their larger sizes and lower population densities.
Somewhat depressed to view the profiles of so many of the touring car personalities (in the UK (!)), in a sport I love, spouting and reposting xenophobic right-wing narratives. The BTCC and TCR UK paddock is a place I enjoy with some great people. But then there's the others...

Worth pointing out the human geography aspect - if people in their 20s and 30s struggle financially too much, the birth rate declines etc. Then, you have effects on migration, retirement age etc.
@andyblackmore@_____ebag@AlletropirPete@IMSA By (almost) the same approach, the BTCC is international because it's got an Irishman racing a Japanese car and the series goes to Scotland... 🤷♂️
