There are more route cuts coming to MetroTransit. If you take transit regularly, you know that these suck, and have real impact. These cuts are coming largely because of the operator shortage. Here's some actions to take:
AND increase hiring bonuses for new operators to $7,000. New hire bonuses are currently $1,000, which simply isn’t enough to compete with industry standards. Other CDL driving jobs in the Metro are offering hiring bonuses from $4,000 to $15,000! Metro Transit needs to step it up.
