3d Chess Update:
I've modulated the entire chess board and thrown it into a big three.js scene I've been working on: An explorable treehouse, all in a webbrowser. I used @MeshyAI to create the models, it only took me an afternoon's worth of time, and claude to place them.
If you watch until the end, you'll see the full room revealed and even the interactive T.V. where you read/watch, in real time, channels with videos and visuals/stories about the world of Funkatron.
Just a few weeks ago Grok could make some badass R-rated videos. Now its PG or nothing. Sad to see even Grok bend the knee. Yo @grok why are you such a pussy these days?
Process Porn is absolutely undefeated right now.
We’ve reached the point where the process has become the product. People don’t want the meal anymore.
They want the raw cooking footage. The actual thing? Meh. Too much effort to engage with.
I see ZERO people asking about any characters or things or lore belonging to the universe and story to which the thing belong. But the questions I do see:
"What's the number of draw calls?"
"What's the fps?"
"Is this three.js or rust?"
I'm seeing more and more how very little adventurers and fantasy minded people are in this space.
@samtechcoded Yes, its insanely easy right now. If you see people selling water shaders, they are scamming people who don't realize how easy it is to just ask AI to make you one.
It is the audience "here". The tech nerds who are in these circles aren't the only people out there. They are just the ones in the X algo.
My personal problem arises when I see the obvious and think "maybe I should post and make more 'how-to' guides and showing the process" because this would inevitably grow my following, but then I would become something I don't want to be: A Content Creator. - the lowest of the low imo.
This would take up too much of my time and I would end up not staying true to my vision. And this vision and direction are the most valuable thing to me.

It's everywhere. When I was live streaming a lot I was doing a TON of next level OBS guru type magic stuff for the production; really outside the scope of what people thought streamers did. I would get tons of production questions. So much so that I had to make graphics and alerts to let people know to not ask immersion breaking production questions.
@sidriff I'm learning more and more that the people I'm looking for are the people who don't know what a "draw call" means. They haven't been tainted with the spell "Eyes of the Developer".
@axinovium Agreed. The sense of "wonder" attempts to leave us all as we age. This is why it is all the more important to fight for and preserve this part of us, lest we wake up one day and can't remember when it left.

They literally don't want more people having access to creative tools. "me me me, its all about me and MY job and MY money. Me me me me me".
Billy would be singing a different tune if he didn't have a job and was on the other side, trying to get in.
Retard.
