A wonderful opportunity to learn about intricate replication mechanisms in arboviruses with beautiful cryo-EM structures by an excellent speaker @lacarlsonlab
Excited to say we have the first seminar of the series with Lars-Anders Carlson of @umeauniversity , a leader in using cryo-EM to show how virus replicates, in unprecedented and beautiful detail. All welcome. Please do RT.
THIS THURSDAY on Zoom.

The recent event makes me reminisce of my EM training with @ShaLGW . She is a wonderful teacher. I acknowledged her in my first EM talk this morning. I am delighted to know that she is OK and is now a grandmother. My thoughts and prayers are with her, her family and her team.
It was a delight to highlight the work by @jessi_K309 et al. from the Spielmann lab on their powerful malarial screening approach in @TrendsParasitol. Please don't forget to read the original paper in @CellSystemsCP.
The new @COG_Train course on Pathogen Genomics, will be launched on 06th March 2023. Register and join more than 300 learners & trainers, and course contributors from around the world to gain knowledge on pathogen genomics for global health-surveillance. #Genomics.
Very grateful for opportunities to work with fellow educators, contributors and the team from @COG_Train@ConnectingSci. My training activities at a global level and in Southeast Asia were made possible by the support from @RockefellerFdn.
New FutureLearn course on Pathogen Genomic Surveillance. The course was developed for everyone including those who do not have medical and scientific background.
One week left to apply for @MBLBoP course @MBLScience in Woods Hole. Don’t miss out for a chance to spend an amazing summer working with #parasites. Research modules on bioinformatics, cell bio, vectors and immunology. 16 students and >40 fantastic lectures.

Excellent malaria research tool from @mcs_lee and @kittyleeh1 . A highly mutable parasite line, making it ideal for drug target identification and resistance selection. A game changer for many labs. https://t.co/iN5ai1I24Z #bioRxiv
With just 2% of #pandemic#recovery finance being spent on #clean energy, emissions are expected to reach an all-time high in 2023. The technology exists today to affordably provide #people#everywhere with reliable energy. I write with @DrVibhaDhawan for @htTweets
Article on the assistance from The Rockefeller Foundation supporting the control of COVID-19 in Southeast Asia. Happy to play a small part in one of their projects and wish to express my gratitude to @RockefellerFdn. #Covid19 https://t.co/IlYMahdB7B
