What in the sweet, ever loving name of Saturday Night Live is going on in this shit-show?
A Bratz doll on animatronic mode, a grandpa past his medication hour, a shaking adderall addict and a female prison warden in a room that looks like a Copper Art store vomited up inside it
@LoverOfThings2k@Kasparov63 I think it's pretty easy to make the case that this particular warrior helps Ukraine more doing what he's doing, given his global reputation, than he would by taking his 63-year-old body to the front lines.
@skaushik100 Former Seattle City Council Member Nick Licata recently posted a concerned assessment of the DSA's direction on Medium. https://t.co/xxYLucSfUE
Good post here about Canadian wildfires, this isn’t like California — Canada is much too large and empty to feasibly “manage” in a successful way.

@benryanwriter It may be an horizon, but it would still be fair to question DSA-affiliated elected officials and candidates in some detail about the extent to which they agree and disagree with the goals put forth in this document.
@DaniMayakovski The long lens used by the videographer the man appear to be much closer to the buffalo than he actually was. He was standing the recommended distance away. Wild animals are never entirely predictable, so there's always a risk, but this guy was not "harassing" the bison.
The moral arc of the universe is long, but it bends toward admitting that "free bus" critics were right and quality of service is more important than fares!
BREAKING: The Texas televangelist who claimed God is using the Iran War to begin the Biblical Apocalypse and Rapture up all the Christians to Heaven on Trump's birthday this June 14th because Trump is the "2nd Messiah" just got arrested for cooking meth in his church basement.
At @JAMA_current today, 2 radiologists publish what should be the consent form for a total body MRI in healthy people
Note: "no major medical society recommends whole-body MRI screening in the general population because it is unproven, and the harms likely outweigh the benefits."

@stevemur Yes there's some movement of jobs from downtown Seattle to the east side, but two larger trends are at work: reductions in tech employment and a shift away from downtown towers. Bellevue CBD's vacancy rate is lower than Seattle's but still quite high and rising.
@visionergeo Economist Noah Smith suggests that the US DOD could probably replenish depleted Patriot missiles faster by contracting for them from Japan.
When Obama sent Iran $400m + $1.3bn in interest in 2016 Trump called it "insane" and he and others spent a decade mocking the idea of "pallets of cash" even though it was Iran's own money, American prisoners were released, courts were likely to require the U.S. payment, and Iran had just agreed to significant and verified reductions and restrictions on its nuclear program for 15+ years. Now Trump is giving Iran up to ten times that amount of revenue--one of the most significant measures of sanctions relief provided to the Islamic Republic since its founding--in exchange for marginal and temporary relief from the big increase in oil prices his actions have caused, without any concessions from Tehran, and even as Iran continues to target the United States, its allies, and world oil supplies. No way to read as anything other than desperate recognition of the situation Trump's own actions have created and the lack of available alternatives for dealing with it.
