The President of Malta, H.E. Myriam Spiteri Debono, received H.E. Tomasz Czyszek, Ambassador of the Republic of #Poland, for a farewell call.

Ambassador Czyszek, who arrived in Malta in 2020 to establish the Embassy of the Republic of Poland, was thanked by President Spiteri Debono for his valuable contribution to strengthening the longstanding and friendly relations between the two countries.

During the meeting, both sides expressed satisfaction with the excellent bilateral ties that have flourished over the past years and reaffirmed their commitment to further deepening cooperation.

In Poland’s judgement Ukraine came to Istanbul to pursue peace. Russia came to dictate surrender. Mr Medvedev admitted that Russia’s goal is buying time and total victory. Russia continues to mock President Trump’s peace efforts.

Let’s give sanctions  a chance. Wewelcome initiatives in the US Congress and hope they’ll lead to a durable peace based on the UN Charter.

Today, 🇵🇱Amb. @TCzyszek attended the #ANZAC Day Commemoration Ceremony at the Pietà Military Cemetery. He laid a wreath in honour of all 🇦🇺&🇳🇿 soldiers who have served in wars both past and present. It was also an occasion to acknowledge the role of 🇲🇹 in the care of the wounded.
