@LuisGon43193105 @SaneDinkle the WWE as it is the largest platform available. There are tons of Mexican and Japanese wrestlers who were never popular outside their home countries because they weren't in WWE, doesn't mean they aren't still GOAT candidates.

@LuisGon43193105 @SaneDinkle Dean Malenko isn't objectively a better wrestler than Stone Cold, you might think he is, but I don't think he has a single match as good as Austin's best. There is no objectivity in a fake sport, the only actual metric is subjective opinion on performers.

@powerbombthatmf @SportsTalkManQC @SaneDinkle Austin was having pretty great matches from 1993-2002, but even then 9 years is super short when compared to other goat candidates like Funk, Flair, Bryan, Joe, AJ, or Punk who all have 20+ year careers. Austin’s run from ‘96-2001 is just next level.

@LuisGon43193105 @SaneDinkle I don’t care about popularity, that’s a dumb metric to gage how good a wrestler is. In-ring and on the mic Austin is one of the greatest ever, so is Mox, it’s just a matter of who has more consistent work over years and right now it’s Austin.
