@flip__03@BCTheTruthl I agree but most of the time when we’re comparing GOATS they never got the chance to fight each other at their peak. That’s why we compare accolades/resumes. Like Usman/GSP or Silva/Izzy. In this case, Aldo, Max and Volk did get the chance to compete at their peaks.
@flip__03@BCTheTruthl To me, the greatest means the best fighter to ever compete at that weight.. and I love Aldo and all of his accomplishments but I can’t call him the best featherweight ever because he lost convincingly to Max twice and also lost to Volk. This was during his prime too.
@shawnsafk@BCTheTruthl The GOAT of the division isn’t always the most accomplished IMO. Aldo won 10 consecutive title fights from 2009 to 2014. That’s what makes him the most accomplished. Max and Volk proved they are better that him tho at their peak…just less accomplished at the moment.
@BCTheTruthl I can partially agree with that. I wouldn’t be surprised if Pitbull beat Aldo. I think that fight is pretty even. On the other hand, I can’t see him keeping up with Max or Volk. AJ’s boxing is levels below both and he was landing on Pitbull tonight. Imagine what Max/Volk would do
