@LeafsEast Stecher has competed. Robertson has unrealized goal scoring ability, Maccelli is worth a bag of pucks and a popsicle stick. I don’t get that one. As soft as baby poop.
@AU5T0N I keep thinking a 3 way makes the most sense. Then they could get a larger return. Cowan/Harley/Bourque maybe. Leafs get Werenski/Lyubushkin. Stars get Rielly/N. Robo/AVs 1st/CBJ 2nd/Danford and the space to sign J. Robo plus address other issues. Marchenko then resigns.
@walsha Nothing like a former player and media guy pushing the GMs agenda for them right? Tell me they don’t need to do this for access. Elliot does this all the time. It’s too obvious he carries their water so they give him access.
@PierreVLeBrun 3 way trade that shiz.
To Leafs: Werenski/Lyubushkin
To CBJ: Harley/Cowan/AVs 1st/Hemming
To Dallas: Danford/Rielly/N. Robo/CBJ 2nd-27/prospect.
Boom. Dallas has the space to sign J. Robo and address other needs.
@KPapetti Naw dog. He projects as a 4C on a competitive team. I’d focus kn signing Stenlund as your defensive specialist and 4C. He’s talented enough to take 3C duties in short stints. If Werenski doesn’t happen it would be in their best interest to be aggressive on a 2C, JT moves to 3C.
@JDrew03 Stolarz over Bob. Hildeby even.
Andrae will cost 25% of Rielly’s contract for similar calibre play.
Trading Carlo allowed the acquisition of two good prospects, one of which fell way lower than expected on most lists. It’s fine. Yes, his stock could have improved, could be worse.
@Banx_Leaf He played it out of necessity but is much more effective on his normal side. It hopefully wont be required. And, you always put players in their preferred slot when doing a fantasy roster. That’s the whole point.
@willynylly 4/ this gives CBJ a replacement for Werenski that may end up being 80% what Werenski was, a top six player that is still at prospect age, and their own 2nd back. It’s enough to make it work. Leafs get Werenski and take Lyubushkin as salary dump and buy him out.
@willynylly 3/ this provides Dallas the freedom to resign J. Robo, gets them a 1st as they are very thin on picks, a top prospect, a player that fits their needs at the price they need, and a quality depth scorer that makes J. Robo want to stay.
@Nealerrr Do you think McCabe would go to Dallas? CBJ 2nd/Cowan/Rielly (retention)/N. Robo to Dallas, /Danford/AVs 1st/Harley to CBJ, Lyubushkin/Werenski to Toronto. Or something like that. Gives Dallas the cap space they need to sign J. Robo, and helps get them younger
