Today I spoke at the Texas Medical Association in Dallas and a physician from Lubbock, Texas, who knew I graduated from Texas Tech, brought me soft tacos from Taco Villa, the crown jewel of Lubbock. This is one of the most thoughtful and delicious gifts I’ve ever received.

One of the most common questions Jeopardy! contestants get asked is "what is Alex Trebek like?"
He is the most professional man I've ever met, the same in person as on TV. So humble and kind, he took a genuine interest in every contestant's stories, and chatted like old friends.

Very sad to hear this news.
I always watched Jeopardy! at my grandparents' house growing up.
Getting to appear on Jeopardy! and meet this legend is one of my fondest memories.
He encouraged so many to learn and celebrate knowledge, and will never be replaced. RIP Uncle Alex.
