The Waterfront School is located close to Lake Ontario. In this beautiful location we have created an inclusive education for our diverse students in JK-8.
We joined together at The Waterfront School in honour of National Day for Truth and Reconciliation to show our commitment to learning more and to sharing the voices of our students @tdsb@alexisdawsonTO#NDTR

In recognition of #BlackHistoryMonth and #InternationalDecadeforPeopleofAfricanDescent, we were proud to join @PortsToronto, @NadineWilliams, The Honourable @JeanAugustine07, and nearly 100 grade 4 students from @TDSB_Waterfront earlier today for the unveiling of the Fabric of our Being quilt in our passenger terminal at @bbishopairport.
This art installation was conceptualized by Nadine and her Collective, and features 30 tiles designed by The Waterfront School students, with each honouring a Black Canadian or exploring themes such as recognition, development and justice.
Thank you, Nadine and students, for helping us celebrate diversity, reflect our community and educate everyone passing through Billy Bishop Airport on the significant contributions of Black Canadians! Learn more: https://t.co/d2agcAgYAU
