Obviously after Hamas took power in 2006 and overtook PA the people in the region never saw another democratic election. I’m not sure one can conclude that people in the region “chose this”

Many people believe that evidence is weighty and discredits the defendants. So,yes, it’s either suppressed by legal maneuver or a clear bias by single judge .
