During slavery, the most forbidden weapon for slaves was knowledge. Slave masters understood that their social control of slaves couldn’t be based solely on physical coercion. Knowledge was power.

I haven't posted content related to our students in a minute. Student Ambassadors from Luis Valdez Leadership Academy (LVLA) tabled in the community yesterday to spread word of all the amazing programs that LVLA offers. Great work lions!
