Black America doesn’t understand what these 1990’s Black celebrities did is change hair styles with black dye, or weaponize nostalgia as talent, or refuse a next generation of talent access and constantly feed on the next crop’s cultural newness. Painting themselves 34 in 1998, and then 34 in 2008, and 34 in 2018. And they will do the same in 2028 if you let them.
