Germany had Steinbeck in 44 which was just ineffective night raids.

Russia crossed the border with hundreds of aircraft and struck deep into Ukrainian territory. but as Ukraine defended, Russia lost more and more aircraft, slowing their offensive to a halt. then, as time dragged on, they used drones.
