@noahcracknelll@UltraRunner26 Might sound crazy but I think running 35 minute laps for a while and spending time in the AC (until we were kicked to the curb 😂) helped my overall core temp!
@mattfitwriter I know you talk about athletes like Siri Lindley wanting it so badly that they "choke." But I think we'd agree that's not what happened in Kona. I'm curious what you'd say about their mental approach.
@mattfitwriter I read "How Bad Do You Want It" before my A race every year. Mid book now as I prep for my pro finale in IMAZ.
After watching Kona and suffering my own similar race failure this year, when is wanting it TOO badly a problem? Did LCB and Taylor cross a line?
@jsmoliga Also, did you notice WAY less marketing for this than Sub-2? I don't think it was because she's female (although I'm not discounting that), I think it's because they knew how this one was going to go.
3%+ improvement on the best time ever is just not in the realm of reality.
@jsmoliga@Slate You nailed it here. And the last paragraph was brilliant. She's the greatest female miler of all time (among other distances). That should be her story, not this.
Happy to say I'm sure it will be, and this stunt will be forgotten. And thank you for putting this out there.
@dcrainmakerblog Hey Ray. The Strava CEO Mike Martin is doing an AMA on a subreddit I moderate. Really forthcoming, transparent answers. Think you'll find it really interesting!

Our hearts are broken with the loss of our friends Johnny and Matty Gaudreau last night. They will forever remain an integral part of our Checking for Charity family.
Our thoughts are with the Gaudreau family & our hockey community

@LeTour@UCI_cycling@TISSOT You have absolutely damaged the image of the sport with your silly fine to Bernard. I'm embarrassed for you, but happy you're giving him so much great press, even if it's because of your own stupidity.
@UPS Hi, I had a driver claim an attempted delivery of a very important package Saturday. I watched him park & leave. I called and was told it would come today. I just saw him leave again. I'm worried he'll never actually try to deliver this package that's critical. Can you help?
@NYCParksAndRec@nycgov, Hey zero bathrooms ever open at the East River Park is not going to cut it. What's the reason? How long will this continue? Ridiculous.
With the unveiling of the Apple Vision Pro, the future of AR/VR has never looked more promising. But what does this mean for the packaging industry? Let's explore the impacts, from design concepts to overhauled production lines: https://t.co/BDJF0ZP4Ol @pmmi@packagingdigest#VR
@tri247 Totally agree. As an extremely mediocre pro that is probably only going to last a couple years chasing the MOP, it'd be pretty sad not to get to go back to AG when I let age catch up with me.
