Akwasi Opong-Fosu is not a leader of convenience. For decades he served the NDC and Ghana and not for what he can take, but what he can build. His politics is rooted in one unshakable principle: public office is stewardship and not extraction. That integrity has made him a trusted leader even when the generality of Ghanaians doubt that those seeking public office are in for public service.
In his role as an authentic leader, not seeking titles and positions, he has served as a bridge across demographic and regional divides. From the Asante Students Association, Volta Region Students Association of Ghana, TEIN USAG, NUGS, he has listened, mentored, and opened doors for young leaders across the country.
