Mohamed Salah is to bring the curtain down on his illustrious career with Liverpool Football Club at the end of the 2025-26 season.
The time to fully celebrate his legacy and achievements will follow later in the year when he bids farewell to Anfield ❤️
I’ve said it so many times but I’ll say it again tonight, this season has been a write off since they decided to back this manager last November.
Nothing has changed since then. It’s been proven time after time he’s way out of his depth. An enormous failure from the hierarchy at this club.
I genuinely can’t believe there’s people who want slot in charge next season, this is one of the worst coached LFC sides I’ve ever seen, we are fucking dreadful and it’s all down to him.
Liverpool are just in a constant state of being really bad, and some games they get away with it and some they don’t. Simple as. That’s the life Edwards and co. have chosen by not changing things post-PSV.
This is total nonsense. HMNB Portsmouth does not "only work 9-5". HMS Dragon is being readied as fast as humanly possible, with many people working hard around the clock.
Serco are only a small (although important) part of the enterprise.
ok, lads, we’ve put up flags, terrified refugees, attacked the police … but wages are still crap, services are still shit, rents are too high, health service is crumbling, trains unaffordable, food prices astronomical, and high streets all dead.
…should we try the flags again?
‘Anyone touched a Newcastle player, they were rolling around, you look at Gordon he falls over’ 🤣
‘Newcastle lads are getting stuck in, ironically 1 got sent off, 2 went off injured, so Liverpool stood up to the physical side’
Roy destroying Newcastle
It’s one of those mornings that makes you realise how much a footballer can mean to you, far beyond the game itself. Finding out the Diogo Jota news feels like a gut punch. A player who scored goals that made us dream, who gave everything to the club, and who played like he truly understood what it means to wear our shirt.
That he’s just 28, in the prime of his life, is always so hard to take. He was an adopted Scouser who got this club and us, the fans, in a way that can’t be faked.
I think, selfishly, as supporters, we use football as a kind of escapism, a way to forget the struggles and the pain that life throws at us. So for many of us, hearing this will bring back memories of the loss and sadness we’ve experienced. And that’s why it’s hitting harder than we ever imagined.
But this isn’t about us today. It’s about his beautiful family, and all our thoughts and love are with them.
Just sick. Just sad. Just grateful that he was ours, and that he’ll forever be a Scouser. ❤️
Next Saturday we host @SherborneTownFC in what will now become an annual fixture.
The teams will be competing for The Mike Murley cup, which will be presented by the Murley family at full time!
We will be charging £5 on the gate and 100% of this will go to @YeovilHeartbeat!
Arsenal bottling it in Europe as usual, and they will be giving the Premier League champions a guard of honour at Anfield on Sunday. Superb. Couldn't have happened to a bigger gang of arrogant pricks. Another trophyless season for the kings of promos. Bums.
This is what we wanted to deliver to our fans more than anything. This is a club that should always compete for everything and be right at the top. No excuses. All teams win games but in the end there’s only one champion. That’s what history remembers and this applies to next season as well.
Alisson Becker has just dropped one of the greatest away European performances in goal for Liverpool ever. Absolutely out of this world from the big man
