Visited #Yazd today, a @UNESCO #WorldHeritageSite. Learned a lot about the magnificent water works of old: underground #qanats, man-made water tunnels and watermills that are dug over many kilometers to bring water to cities and fields. Now rehabilitated, well worth the visit

This week, 63 Afghans arrived in the Netherlands from Tehran. They previously traveled independently from #Afghanistan to #Iran and were supported on arrival by the Dutch embassy. Since January this year, over 100 Afghans were able to travel to the Netherlands via Iran.
