We are in awe of the outpouring of love for our dear Chester, who celebrated his 108th birthday today. He received 1,800 cards from 36 states, England and Germany! He was so very grateful. To everyone who sent a card... you made his day incredibly special and we thank you!!⚓️❤️🇺🇸

We love music therapy! Our team of musical detectives create individualized playlists for our veterans on MP3 players filled with favorite songs from their youth. Today we overheard this Korean War vet singing a tune and drumming along on his table! 🎶🇺🇸❤️

Today, we tapped our toes and sang along to Grand Ole Opry classics, did some songwriting, and tried our hands at playing new instruments. Maggie, a music therapist from @bgcarenav, is helping us promote self expression, cognitive stimulation, and connection through music! ❤️🇺🇸🎶
