Over 20 yrs worth of Hamas investment, over a billion dollars. The IDF have found 1 to 6 mile long tunnels. Working every day for 2 yrs. Using explosives, concrete, and other methods. 20-30% destroyed thus far a recent estimate. The destruction of the tunnels is a strategic priority and challenge. There can be no stability, even in the IDF controlled areas, until the tunnels are destroyed.
