Same with me. I have been supporting @ManUtd since 1992. In fact, I have unfollowed Bruno on all social media. He's not a good leader and should be sold out of our dear team. I don't think he will be able to coordinate the team and lead the team.
Dear @ManUtd
I’ve supported this club since 2003 and I have one request ahead of next season.
Please sell Bruno Fernandes.
After what I saw as his insubordination and the way he played alongside Cristiano Ronaldo during the ongoing FIFA World Cup, where Portugal were eliminated, I’ve completely lost faith in him as the captain of Manchester United.
This club deserves leaders who inspire the team, not divide opinion.
If Bruno remains at the club next season, I’ll be h@te-watching every game and hoping this team learns that no player is bigger than Manchester United.
A loyal fan since 2003.
🚨🎙️Wayne Rooney on Portugal's performances with Cristiano Ronaldo:
"Watching Portugal, I never got the feeling that the players were willing to fight for Cristiano Ronaldo. You could see it in their body language. Too often, it felt like they left him isolated, and when things went wrong, it was easy for the criticism to fall on him instead of the team's overall performance.
Cristiano is a striker. You have to play to his strengths. Put quality crosses into the box, make runs into the penalty area, combine with him in dangerous positions. Instead, they kept playing hopeful long balls, rarely attacked the box, and hardly created the type of chances that have defined Ronaldo's career.
This was a great opportunity for Portugal to challenge for the World Cup, but it never looked like everyone was pulling in the same direction. Football is a team game, and your biggest players need the support of the players around them. I didn't see enough of that.
People also seem to forget what Cristiano Ronaldo has done for Portugal. He helped change the history of football in that country, inspired a generation, and put Portugal among the world's elite. Whether you're a young player or an experienced one, you have to respect that legacy.
No matter how talented this current squad is, very few players will ever reach the level Cristiano reached in football. That's why you support a player of his stature, especially on the biggest stage. Unfortunately, throughout this tournament, it often felt like the team never truly played to bring the best out of him, and that was a huge disappointment."
🚨Javier Hernández speaks on the comparison between Lionel Messi and Cristiano Ronaldo🦸♂️🦇: You don’t have to belittle one to recognize the greatness of the other.
🗣: That’s why I always say Messi is Superman and Cristiano is Batman. Superman was born with powers, but Batman was not. Batman builds himself with discipline and courage to become extraordinary.
I think that’s the real discussion—not who is better, but which story inspires you more. Both are to be admired.
Both inspire greatly: the one born with a gift or the one who proves you can change your destiny?
In the end, we admire Messi for what he is—a being from another planet—but many of us admire Cristiano Ronaldo because he is a monster of will who forces us to look in the mirror and feel capable of breaking any limit.
🗣️ Pepe:
“Ronaldo is an absolute legend. He gave everything today, but the Portuguese midfield was disappointing. He made so many intelligent runs, yet no one was able to deliver a simple cross or pass to him. On several occasions he was completely free, but the midfield lacked urgency and composure.
He has achieved so much for this country. We started winning major trophies because of him, and the entire Portugal squad owes him an apology for not helping him win the World Cup he deserved. It’s a disgrace that players who are considered among the best at their respective clubs couldn’t come together and deliver the World Cup for Ronaldo.
During our time, we played with hunger and fought for every ball. We didn’t have as many star players, but we played as a team and won trophies. They all owe Ronaldo an apology.”
🚨🎙️Toni Kroos on Portugal's national team:
"First of all, congratulations to Portugal. If the objective was to move on from Cristiano Ronaldo, then you've achieved it."
"For years, people kept saying Cristiano was the reason Portugal struggled. Others claimed the team would be better without him and that there was no difference between Portugal with or without Cristiano. Fine—now the pressure is on them to prove it."
"From this moment, people will judge this team by what they achieve after Cristiano. If they truly believed he was holding them back, then they must go on to win the next European Championship and compete seriously for the next World Cups. That's how football works—you have to back up your words with results."
"We all know Portugal's history before Cristiano Ronaldo, and we all know what he helped the national team achieve during his era. He played a huge role in changing the mentality of Portuguese football and helped deliver the biggest trophies in the country's history."
"What disappointed me wasn't the result—it was the attitude. Throughout the tournament, it often looked like the unity and fight that made this team successful in the past just wasn't there. Everyone watching could see that."
"Now there's no more debate about Cristiano. The spotlight is fully on this generation of players. They'll be judged by what they win from here on, not by what they say. Football always remembers trophies, not excuses."
@Lawma_gov we don't know what's going on. Your representative in charge of ebutemeta, Ibadan street by cemetery/Herbert Macaulay are yet to cart away refuse and the whole streets are in a mess. Almost a month now.
"Tonight I suffered with Argentina..."
He immediately then catches himself and then adds: "...but I'm neutral."
This is the FIFA President.
Classic quick backtrack after nearly admitting he wanted Argentina to win.
What a shameless useless biased mofo.
🚨🎙️🗣️: Drogba
“FIFA is a disgrace and everyone is seeing what they want to do again, if they don’t want other countries to compete with Messi and Argentina they should just say it rather than making it look like we are wasting our time”
