I get that. But the coverage is very hit or miss. It also has become way too personal. Because that generation of SportsCenter that we had, it wasn’t personal then, as it is now. Narratives are distorting our ability as fans to enjoy what we’re watching and it’s unfortunate.

@TJKidd__ The SportsCenter generation was so used to being able to get all the games fed to them in highlight form that they're still looking to replicate that.

I understand the game has evolved. But the discourse around it has become insufferable when it comes to a lot of topics. It’s not everything & everyone through. The percentage of both is high unfortunately. There are people who still know what they’re talking about though.

Do basketball fans actually watch basketball? I’m curious. Because the way some people talk about players, coaches, & teams… I’m starting to think they just watch highlights, read box scores, & believe the narratives that are most appealing to them.

Parity is helping the league. Teams are doing a good job of building rosters that don’t completely revolve around a “Big 3” model anymore. They are built to make 🏆 runs & maintain sustainable longevity without having to wildly overpay.
