@BosscherBen I think it's more we'd rather keep him but if he wants to be a diva and demand a trade then sabonis is a decent consolation prize also he's at least somewhat of a shooter/playmaker which would help out Ausar game a ton
@DoeJumars Fair but when he shoots 40 2 years ago, 40 in the playoffs, and publicly was dealing with an ankle injury it safe to assume it's probably just the ankle injury affecting him
@BruceTennen Averaged 7 rebounds in the cavs series and 9 in the Orlando series, kept getting lost on box outs, got dunked on a bunch, and averaged less blocks than the 6'6 guard he's never been a defensive player
@KevinOConnor Duren also plays minimal defense , isn't a shooter at all, and wasn't a lob threat the whole playoffs.
Sabonis could operate from the free throw line and kill with cuts from Ausar
@here2_b_nosey@ArmandKilljoy That's how the evolution of any game works ppl figure out the best strategies and apply them it's the same reason we see offenses in the NFL as more of a balance between pass and run vs pure power running of the 30s and 40s
@here2_b_nosey@ArmandKilljoy Fine every role player with OKC won doing this, every role player with the Celtics won doing this, every role player with the nuggets won doing this, STEPH CURRY won doing this, every player with bucks including Giannis won doing this, every role player on the Lakers...
@Jack23McD And stars still shoot like the first shot chart look at cade, shai, KD, wemby, paolo, etc
New NBA is your stars take what they want role players take what's easy
