@TeamYouTube I am unable to go and revert back to my original settings whenever I am on mobile and I am looking at my friends livestreams. It immediately defaults right to vertical like its like on tiktok and its ugly. Is their a way where I can toggle this off and revert it. Thanks!

@TeamYouTube Can you please UN-select me please. I never consented to being selected, nor did I ever want this feature to happen to me. It makes me NOT want to watch livestreams on your platform and it locks me out of selecting videos after livestreams are over.

I am unable to even go and set it back to legacy view and I know that some streamers have it set to where there is a vertical option and a horizontal option but now that doesn't even exist anymore. Is this a glitch or something and if so, can you please fix it. Thanks!

Apparently, all it took was... a kind Congressional staffer to contact YouTube and argue my case.

While I appreciate all they did to restore my channel, it really should not require this.

I'd advise everyone who got their YouTube accounts terminated or demonetized to contact their member of Congress.
Maybe that's the language YouTube understands.
