@ChShersh@piliponful Disagree; I used to ask this until 2019. There’s 4 related O(n) solutions which naturally get more efficient. Two pointer method is tricky but interviewer can guide candidate toward it.
Now I don’t like asking algo at all except to new grads
@thatirlpokemon It was hard to corroborate low probability events or changes in probability without official Nintendo sources. Plus kids generally didn’t know what to look for.
Eg: we thought holding A+B+down improved your catch chances!
I didn’t learn about Gen 1 misses until college!
@thatirlpokemon Those who grew up w/ good search, guides, videos, & game decompilation really misjudge how hard it was to learn this type of info back then. If you only saw Red Gyarados you wouldn’t assume shinies of other Pokemon exist too given how rare they are. It’d be an urban legend. (1/2)
@noel8991@AndoryuAnzuru@CGInfernoBlast I originally played Crossbell without buying it, but when they released it on Steam I bought both games twice (both JP and EN versions)
⏺ Confirmed — .claire doesn't exist. It was just a typo in the path I passed to the Edit tool, which correctly failed with "file does not exist" before I corrected it.
...?
https://t.co/XxWMAg04wh guess it's a real issue?
@TheAhmadOsman I think the only reason OpenAI has appeared to be friendlier than Anthropic to open source / 3rd party harnesses is because they have enough compute to handle it
I don’t see why they would fundamentally take a different stance
