The fucking audacity and privilege of this tweet makes my head spin. We're rationing our meds and having our teeth pulled because we can't afford root canals, but to them were just quaint peasants used as poverty porn when they need perspective.
@Molson_Hart Wait until there’s another kid, private schools, and a small house in the Hamptons (to get out of that tiny 3 BR apt once in a while). He will feel like part of the working class struggling to make ends meet (on $2M/yr). I’ve known people with such problems. Absurd but true.
Some millennial tweeted that Gen X had no “pivotal moment”. Kids, we were all brought into cafeteria and auditoriums in school, told we were about to witness history, then watched the spaceship Challenger explode before our eyes.
Matt Gaetz just voted for Donald Trump to replace Nancy Pelosi as Speaker of the House. For what it’s worth, I vote for Trump to be sent to federal prison for violating the Espionage Act of 1917 and the Insurrection Act of 1807.
House Democrats are unified by our shared values and commitment to address the needs and aspirations of America’s working families. Let’s get to work For The People. -NP
I think Democrats ruined the expectations of people by governing for two years with the slimmest of majorities in the House and no majority in the Senate, got shit done, and made it look easy. In reality, it was two years of Democrats doing the impossible everyday.
No, Democrats in the House should NOT vote for any Republican Speaker.
None. I don't care if it's Liz Cheney, Fred Upton or Darth Vader.
They don't deserve our help undoing what we've accomplished these last 2 years.
Stop it. Just stop it.
Thank you @SpeakerPelosi for being a strong supporter of the Ukrainian people, and for your leadership in making historic decisions of the U.S. Congress on helping 🇺🇦’s fight for freedom & independence!
It was my privilege today to gavel out the end of the 117th Congress — an extraordinarily productive session #ForThePeople.
I look forward to continuing to serve the people of San Francisco in the 118th Congress and will share more on this account.
Almost like living in the midst of an ongoing pandemic changes your priorities as you realize being treated like dirt at work is not in fact any way to live and it's okay to stop settling and demand better from people who once considered you expendable.
I’m a big fan of Dr. Fauci and how he’s calmly guided our country through crisis.
Re Musk tweet? Courting vaccine-deniers doesn’t seem like a smart business strategy, but the issue is this: could you just leave a good man alone in your seemingly endless quest for attention?
