I had Claude run a simple botec on the life years lost for US guns vs European heat, as opposed to the deaths. The graph going around was somewhat goofy.
Dipoto will never hire a manager that will do anything other than run his script
He would definitely hire a manager who knows the mound visit rules, though
You just can’t embarrass yourself like that at this level
@brithume@JamesRosenTV@vermontaigne Oh good! Then I judge it quite harshly indeed, and not on a curve. So the rich, feckless child with a massive inferiority complex doesn't get a pass just because I should be "used to it," as you seem to be saying.
When a tweet makes you mad, always check the profile before you reply or quote tweet. Don't give the rage bait accounts the clicks. Thank you for coming to my TED talk.
What’s funny about all this gerrymandering talk is that we’re fighting over which party controls a legislative branch that doesn’t actually legislate anymore.
It's funny (because I'm not David French) to see so many Christians work so hard to avoid grace, charity, and love, the better to cling to their pride.
All of us have blind spots, but I am starting to genuinely feel bad for David French. He is so lost and so entrenched in his disregard for conservative Christians, that I worry for his heart. I pray that he finds peace and that he is able to one day return to the fold and not trapped in this bondage.
I saw Star Wars #8 twice, the second time to confirm that it was bad as my first impression suggested. It was even worse the second time around. Watched #9 out of a sense of duty; possibly no other movie ever made me sadder in the way it did. I'll never watch it a second time.
Realized I couldn’t even remember the name of the 9th Star Wars movie and had to look it up. Never saw either 8 or 9 a second time. They pretty much evaporated to me.
@BoyDadFarmer The genetic lottery aspect of it always bugged me, too. Give me baseball, with everything from peak athletes to dad bods, short and tall, etc.
I will care about basketball again when players across the board care about defense again. Love to hear that someone did this season.
It's a problem in the NCAA, but it's a massive problem in the NBA. The games are just so boring.
Michigan held its last four opponents in the NCAA Tourney -- Alabama, Tennessee, Arizona and UConn -- to their lowest field goals percentages of the season. All of them.
I know defense isn't always as sexy as big offensive numbers. But we just witnessed a generational defense.

"Nothing bad enough, in Twitter terms, can happen to this person."
