@JoelJackson89@Pooliemags1Ttv I'd actually love to see him under another EPL manager btw, because personally I don't think he's suited to this league at all - so it would be interesting to see if he lives up to this imagined hype from some of his bum boys.
@JoelJackson89@Pooliemags1Ttv Woltemade was scoring goals when forced into the system that the team were used to. Once he started to drop because he couldn't match the physicality - the team suffered & he went a long stretch without a goal. Then, was tried out deeper, seeing as thats where he mostly operated
@JoelJackson89@Pooliemags1Ttv A more mobile striker suits the system that's been ingrained for the last few years - hence why Gordon & Osula spent good chunks up top. All good teams have an identity, the ones with a broken identity are usually not very good - like NUFC last season with Woltemade up top.
@professorahab@TalkOnTheToonNU Well maybe those fans need a lesson in restraint then - overplaying the big I am will always come back to bite them on the arse - and there's always peaks & troughs in footie.
@Nufc__Tom@kayyleighk7 Got absolutely nothing to do with it - if Tuchel was so concerned about him being "dropped" for a game and a half, then why has he gone for Tino who's spent far longer off the pitch, on the treatment table???
@Adamhus75560180@HD_07 All you'll get back is that he's spent ยฃ700m in the process - which he has, but in context it's got about 10 players, due to the values the club has had to pay and quality that was needed to be brought in to compete. Many remnants are still around, worth very little.
@Nightwaves1@cyclesinthedark@swinburne_mark Being the only fit striker, it's no wonder he was "run into the ground", didn't help that he also stopped running into the box either.
@Nightwaves1@cyclesinthedark@swinburne_mark Plenty of crosses went in during the early part of the season - but the box became more and more empty as the season went on - no wonder crosses stopped going in as regularly
