@CoachLawrenceHC As always, you have hit the mark with this tribute. I remember the early Dyestat when your dad and Newman could be counted on to weigh in on the side of the York XC teams in any debate of the best teams in state history or about who the best coach ever was.
Hey peeps,

Looking for a talented synthetic chemist, interested in methodology development with applications in natural product synthesis, and willing to apply for a @MSCActions fellowship (HORIZON-MSCA-2025-PF-01-01) in my group @QMUL#asymmetric, #catalysis, #PhotoFlow, #SustainableFuture
@awhspeed Interestingly, I once did a Freon reaction on an OH with a boronic acid present to successfully make an OCHF2 Naphthyl boronic acid. So they are pretty robust in the greater scheme of things.
@CRP_Laboratory Do you think that the Ag salt could be transmetallated and coupled to aryl halides? It is certainly underrepresented and it woukd be interesting to understand its metabolic stability.
@livesinchem An interesting fact concerning Ziegler was that he was a coworker with another future Nobel Laureate, Georg Wittig, during his time at Marburg in the group of Karl von Auwers.
