#TMFR crews suppressed a fire confined to the rear corner of a mobile home on the 2100 block of Salman Way this morning. Two persons and three pets displaced, no injuries reported. Cause related to a water heater. @RenoFireDept assisted.

Approx 450pm, #TMFR Crews assisted by @StoreyCounty Fire and @WashoeSheriff Hasty pulled two stranded victims out of Truckee River in east Truckee Canyon. Both transported to hospital with cold-related injuries.

⚠️Early this morning, #TMFR Firefighters knocked down a small 8’X12’ fire in a living quarters conversion on the 5200 block of Carol Drive in Sun Valley. Single occupant safe and unharmed. Cause under investigation.

#TMFR responded to a trapped vehicle in canal in Verdi earlier this morning. Uninjured single occupant escaped prior to high water. Fire crews coordinating with @WashoeSheriff and @NNPH_Org on vehicle recovery.

Fire Crews knocked down a roadside brush fire this afternoon on I-80 near USA Parkway. ⚠️Drive with caution as crews mop up.

Shortly after 7am, TMFR Firefighters made an interior attack and knocked down a structure fire in Cold Springs on Papa Bear Cir. Crews are now completing overhaul. Fire contained to two rooms. Sole resident escaped with no injuries and will be displaced. Fire under investigation.

#TMFR Battalion Chief Reid, Fire Engineer McNaught, and Firefighter/Paramedic Roberts are supporting our neighbors to the north on the #HaydenFire. The fire is burning nearly 22,000 acres 18 miles west of Leadore, ID in steep and difficult terrain - 47% contained. Stay safe guys!
