@fordnation Want a common sense plan to reduce gridlock? Congestion tax. Money goes towards improving transit & bike lanes. I bet my life within a decade we see less traffic, healthier people, a cleaner city, AND a stronger economy. But you rather kill lives with this fuckass plan

@deejayakoni @the_transit_guy Dude I have a car, but pay more to live in an area where it’s mot necessary. When I stayed in a small city, it was depressing when the drug store is only a 5min walk but we still had to drive because of the lack of sidewalks amd a 6 lane road blocking pedestrians

As Mayor, I have been working to negotiate with the province to find a path forward that keeps every road user safe - pedestrians, cyclists and drivers alike. Disappointing to see a member of Council undermine the City's right to determine its own future and repeatedly side with provincial overreach.

@fordnation Thank you Ford for putting commuters in danger, wasting tax payer money, increasing traffic by removing bike lanes, and hurting the local economy with this decision. But hey, it hurts Torontonians which if your true mandate right?
