@NORADCommand I grew up in Pueblo Colorado. NORAD was just a hop skip and and jump away. We heard the jets flying all the time..We are also in the mountains and around the Airforce Academy alot..
Keep NORAD in Colorado where it belongs! Our economy depends on it!

Keeping Aurora Safe This Fourth of July
As our nation celebrates its 250th anniversary, we know many in our community are concerned about fireworks. Those concerns are understandable. Active wildfires burning throughout the state are a stark reminder of Colorado's severe drought.
The Aurora Police Department is committed to keeping our community safe. We will have increased staffing throughout the holiday weekend, proactively patrolling neighborhoods to ensure everyone is celebrating safely, responsibly and lawfully.
Anyone using prohibited fireworks can expect them to be confiscated in addition appropriate enforcement action, which could include a criminal summons, a minimum $250 fine or arrest.
APD will also utilize the Real Time Information Center and our Drones as First Responders program to help identify dangerous activity and respond quickly to emergencies.
Remember: Fireworks that leave the ground — including aerial shells, mortars, bottle rockets, sky rockets, Roman candles and similar devices — are illegal in Aurora. Most ground-based fireworks, including fountains, are permitted if the shower of sparks does not exceed 15 feet.
Celebrate responsibly. Protect your neighbors. Help keep Aurora safe this Independence Day.
@Magnus_Veritas @Matt_Pinner I had the same reaction 15 years ago. In February 2025 I caught influenza and that was the first time since 2010. I owned and operated a licensed family child care home you would have thought I had it every year but we didn't.
🚨DISCLOSURE DAY Steven Spielberg Official Trailer Drop
If you found out we weren't alone and someone proved it would it frighten you… or finally set the truth free?
That's the nerve Steven Spielberg presses in the official Disclosure Day trailer.
This isn't framed as invasion panic or spectacle. It's framed as a reckoning. A quiet, unsettling realization that the universe may never have belonged to us alone and that the truth has been delayed, filtered, or withheld far too long.
"People have a right to know the truth.
It belongs to 7 billion people." That line lands hard.
The trailer doesn't rush. It lingers. It asks the question institutions have avoided for decades:
What happens when disclosure isn't gradual… but global?
What happens when the truth arrives all at once?
"You wouldn’t believe me if I told you. So I’m going to show you."
Spielberg isn’t selling fear here. He's pointing at curiosity, awe, and something deeper, a species tired of being treated like it can't handle reality.

If nothing else, the last nine months should have made it clear that elections matter. But what’s remarkable about America is that we have the power, as citizens, to change this country by voting. Go to https://t.co/NKXRGNgbZX.
🚨 TWO DUI crashes. One weekend. Both into police cars. You can’t make this up.
The first happened around 3:30 a.m. Saturday, when an unmarked patrol vehicle was parked on the shoulder of Airport Blvd finishing up a traffic stop. Out of nowhere, a driver plows right into the back of the patrol car. Investigators found numerous “truly hard” seltzers and other empty cans in the vehicle. And yes, the driver surprise, surprise, was truly arrested for DUI.
Fast forward to 12:32 a.m. Sunday at a different location, same bad decision. Our officers were turning onto E. Mississippi from S. Chambers when they rear ended…by yet another drunk driver.
Thankfully, all our officers are okay, though all were taken to the hospital for minor injuries and two had whiplash.
Let’s be real: there’s nothing cool, funny, or excusable about driving under the influence. Call a ride, call a friend, walk, crawl do literally anything else, just don’t drive drunk. It’s not worth the risk.
Because if you hit a patrol car, let’s be honest: that’s not “bad luck.” That’s bad judgment. These officers were lucky. Next time, it could be you, your friend, or someone’s family member.
@KKTV11News Isn't that interesting that he uses that word?
What does detractor mean?
Meaning of detractor in English
Someone who criticizes something or someone, often unfairly: His detractors claim that his fierce temper makes him unsuitable for leadership.
@krassenstein When four F-16s, a surveillance plane, and four tankers are scrambled, it means the threat profile was serious enough to warrant full-spectrum response. This isn’t just about airspace. It’s about testing boundaries: geographic, strategic, and psychological.
As someone who served as an Army Attack Pilot, I know firsthand the risks when adversaries test our defenses. Russian bombers and fighters approaching Alaska’s ADIZ is not a drill—it’s a probing action, a message. Every intercept like this carries the chance of miscalculation that could spark a crisis.
These aren’t isolated flights; they’re deliberate pressure campaigns. The American people need to understand that our military is on the line 24/7, ready to respond within seconds, while politicians in D.C. bicker. This is deadly serious, and dismissing it as routine is dangerous.
