Our thanks to the @USChamber of Commerce for inviting TPI President Alex Herrgott to present at the Chamber of Commerce Committee of 100 Conference. We love meeting with leaders to discuss the progress needed in communities across the country! #permitting#infrastructure
What do Bob the Builder and Thomas the Tank Engine have in common?
1. They have the same middle name
2. They hate permitting delays
We work with lots of builders and engineers, they all hate permitting delays too. Let's turn their frowns upside down with permitting reform!
Permitting is #NotJustNEPA
There are over 64 common federal reviews before and after NEPA.
We don’t need a magic bullet to fix every issue at once, we need to consistently address each issue as fast as possible so we can build the infrastructure we need as fast as possible.
Last week, Congress released a bill and the Biden administration released a budget both addressing the same vital issue: permitting. We all know it's time to find a bipartisan solution to the permitting crisis. #ItsTimeToBuild
The TPI Team gets results. Check out how we helped complete over $200 billion in infrastructure projects - creating over 32,000 jobs - across multiple states and industries.

🗣️It's not just NEPA!
There are countless laws overseen by 18 federal agencies that contribute to the quagmire of federal permitting.
The answer isn't to gut these laws. The answer is to bring them into the 21st century so we can build infrastructure for the 21st century.
What HELPS the permitting process? Citizens talking to the government during public comment periods.
What HURTS the permitting process? Government agencies not talking to each other.
Public engagement is key, but lack of interagency coordination is the real problem.
The CHIPS and Science Act provides historic opportunities to prepare our country for the future.
We need permitting reform to finish the job.

We had a great discussion with Congressional offices on both sides of the aisle at the first session of Permitting U! Follow for updates on future events!
.@TPI_Build, which provides technical assistance on legislation to Congressional offices, is planning monthly bipartisan and bicameral events focusing on permitting challenges for different sectors, as interest in the policy area grows

TPI President Alex Herrgott has joined the Advisory Council at the Partnership to Address Global Emissions (PAGE). The goal of this new coalition is to help our allies reduce their reliance on foreign coal by exporting U.S. liquefied natural gas. @PAGE_Coalition
As seen in @WSJ - TPI supports thorough and efficient permitting reviews. Coordination is key to protecting our natural resources while delivering the energy infrastructure improvements America needs now.
A plan to streamline permitting for energy infrastructure projects is emerging as a linchpin of the Senate Democrats’ tax-and-climate package https://t.co/pZ5jPTGiTB
Climate change activists cautiously praised yesterday’s news that Senate Energy and Natural Resources Chair Joe Manchin had agreed to a legislative package that includes nearly $370 billion in climate and energy spending. There were a few boos too.

Permitting changes stemming from the Manchin/Schumer deal are a recognition that the existing policy tools aren’t robust enough, but "won’t be earth-shattering." https://t.co/jqdyZXyC1Z
Inspiring evening at the 14th annual Capital Conservation Awards Dinner hosted by @TheTRCP! It’s time to work together to protect our resources AND deliver cleaner, stronger infrastructure America needs.
We are proud to partner with @NSSGA and its member companies. Their work to produce and deliver the materials that build America is critical in our efforts to revitalize U.S. infrastructure. #infrastructure#RocksBuildAmerica#permitting
